East Market Owners Committee
our Boards of Directors are pleased to announce the formation of East Market’s (Phases 1 and 2) Owner’s Committee. The first meeting was held on October 16th and owners and Board members from both phases were present.
The choice of Owners Committee, as opposed to “landscape/ grounds committee”, was made to reflect its proposed mandate which will include:
Acting in a consultative/advisory capacity to the Boards regarding matters of general interest to the owners, including;
enhancements to the exterior and interior of the building;
other longer term plans and priorities; and,
at the direction of the Boards, other specific projects.
The December 7th meeting will begin at 7pm in the Boardroom off the Games Room in Phase 2. All owners are welcome.
The agenda will include approval of the draft Terms of Reference. Tim Anderson from Phase 2 was elected Chairperson. The draft Terms call for the positions of Chair and Vice-Chair to be held by one owner from each Phase, so we are hoping for strong representation from Phase 1 to effect the election of the Vice-chair.
