Due to the significant number of important issues and interesting projects that both boards must address on a regular basis, we are setting-up a number of committees to give more owners an opportunity to get involved and help keep things moving forward. We would be very pleased to have interested owners become involved in advising the Boards on any of the following committees:
This committee will look at possible future improvements to the shared facilities, while seeking input from owners as a whole. The shared amenities consist of the rear patio/garden area, together with the party/event room, gym, games lounge and meeting room.
This committee will look at what actions can be taken to improve security and safety in and around the buildings.
The Communications Committee will assist the board with future newsletters and other written communications to owners. Those with a background in graphic design, page layout, writing or editing would be a great asset.
This winter, we also expect to setup an energy committee to look at ongoing efforts to reduce energy use and costs, which could include reviewing energy contracts and overseeing a professional energy audit. Please contact a Board member if you are interested in working on one of these committees.
