caulking

You are responsible for maintenance of caulking in your unit. Over time, normal wear-and-tear and the expansion/contraction of materials will loosen caulking or cause some materials to separate. You may notice this where drywall meets concrete, or where tile grout meets tub. By maintaining the caulking you can avoid water /moisture build-up and subsequent costly repairs to dry wall, tiles, and furniture.

countertops

Use only liquid non-abrasive cleaners on countertops. If you have light coloured granite countertops, always wipe up standing water immediately in order to avoid darkening of the granite by water absorption.
