Please note that Clearview Window Cleaning Ltd. will begin cleaning of all exterior windows and exterior balcony glass commencing:
Monday October 1st 2012 until completion.
Unfortunately, due to the unpredictable weather patterns, we are uncertain as to how long it may take to complete the work. Our contractor has advised that weather permitting the Window Cleaning should be completed by Friday October 12th 2012.
Please be reminded that the contractor will be doing all windows, excluding the interior side ofand ensure you are following the Corporati balcony.
Delivery of this service is dependent on weather.
The Government of Ontario has enacted legislation, which prohibits window cleaning in poor weather. Window cleaning is prohibited when the wind gusts above 15km/h, or on days with precipitation. These laws have been created for the safety of all contractors, employees and the well-being of their dependents that work with our Condominium Corporation. Please be patient if weather slows the deliveryof service.
Window washing will continue until completed, barring any unforeseen weather.
Should you wish to ensure your privacy, it is recommended you keep your window coverings closed. If you feel that a window has been missed during the cleaning,please let us know immediately, as the window contractor will not return once they have left the building.

Ottawa Valley Contractor Review


Please be advised that Ottawa Valley will be reviewing all requested inspection work such as windows and spandrel panels and balcony glass at The East Market, Phases 1 & 2, during the days of: 


Wednesday September 12th & Thursday September 13th, 2012


Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.


We require access to your unit.  


IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT ALL UNITS BE ACCESSIBLE AT THIS TIME.   A representative from Ottawa Valley Glass will require entrance into your unit to determine the final number of spandrel panel replacements, balcony and window deficiencies.


A representative from your Management team will be accompanying Ottawa Valley Glass when entering your unit.  We will be using the building master key to gain access to your unit if you are not home.  Some units are not on the master key system, so we ask that you contact Elisha Lalonde (Property Administrator) and provide suitable arrangements.  Please be advised that appointments cannot be made. A notice will be left in your unit, advising you when the investigation in your unit has been completed.

This time of year it is very busy for with people moving in and out and to make sure that new and old residents are not inconvenienced unduly during moves, the elevators need to be booked in advance.  


To ensure your move goes smoothly, please make sure to book your elevator time slot by email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or phone 

(613-744-1199)  at least 5 days prior.  


Should you not book the elevator and proceed to move, there will be an administration fee charged back to your unit as per

 Corporation policy.

Discarding Items from Balconie

It has come to our attention that items such as glass bottles and cigarette butts are being discarded off of balconies.  Please refrain from throwing anything off the balconies as this poses a serious safety hazard.

Garbage Disposal


Garbage should be placed in small grocery bags, tied and placed down the chute.  Garbage which is bigger or heavy must to be brought down to the garbage room.


All boxes must be broken down and brought to the garbage room.  This includes pizza boxes, moving boxes and small appliance boxes.  No cardboard should be placed in the chute.


Please do not throw down the chute oversized or heavy items.  The tri-sorting chute was seriously damaged last month, due to a resident throwing down barbells, which are very heavy.  The cost to repair the tri-sorter was in excess of $3,000Last week, the tri-sorter was again damaged due to a large object being thrown down which bent the diverting baffle.  


Keep in mind that failure to follow this procedure will result in additional work for your cleaners, periods of time when the chute is not functioning and extra charges to the unit owner(s).

Ordures ménagères


Veuillez placer vos déchets dans des sacs de plastique attachés avant de les placer dans la colonne à déchets. Les gros articles devraient être apportés dans la salle du rez-de-chaussée.


Lorsque les sacs ne sont pas attachés, ceci occasionne des débris sur les parois de la colonne et exige plus de nettoyage, n’est pas hygiénique, attire des insectes et produit des odeurs nauséabondes.


Toutes les boîtes doivent être brisées avant de les placer dans la salle des déchets; ceci inclut les boîtes à pizza et petits appareils. Aucun carton ne doit être placé dans la colonne à déchets.


Vous êtes priés de ne pas placer des objets trop gros ou trop lourds dans la colonne. Le mois dernier, la colonne à trois volets a été lourdement endommagée lorsqu’un résident y a jeté des poids et haltères, ce qui est très lourd. Le coût des réparations s’est élevé à plus de 3 000$. La semaine dernière, l’appareil a encore une fois été endommagé lorsqu’un objet lourd y a été placé, ce qui a fait plier un déflecteur.


Veuillez noter que si vous n’observez pas ces directives, ceci exige plus de travail de la part du personnel d’entretien ménager, des interruptions de service des appareils de la colonne à déchets et des coûts additionnels pour les propriétaires de logements.

Please be reminded to properly close and tie your garbage bags prior to placing them down the garbage chute.
Please also do NOT leave garbage in the chute room. If the garbage that does not properly fit within the chute, we ask that you dispose of the garbage in the garbage room accordingly.
Please also be advised that regular shopping bags should not be used for garbage, as they have small holes in them. This will reduce spillage while transferring garbage from your Unit to the garbage chute or garbage room. Units will be charged for spot cleaning of the carpets soiled by pets or garbage.
Please follow the recycling routine as posted in the garbage room. Metals, plastics, boxes and waste each have its own specified location for proper recycling disposal.
Nothing is to be left in the Garbage Chute Room, including wine, beer or liquor bottles.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation and consideration for your fellow neighbours.

Please be advised that Baxtec has been contracted to replace all filters located in each unit during the week of;

July 16th 2012 – July 20th 2012
The Filter Replacement will take place between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

To ensure your safety, a member of your management team will be escorting the contractor(s) into your unit.

Please provide Gabe (Site super) with a Key or direction as to how to enter your unit if you have changed locks. Please remove any debris blocking your units filter so that access may be provided to the representative to appropriately change your filter.
