How will this affect you?

 

Phase 1 Unit Owners: Please be advised that on Wednesday June 10th, 2015 between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, the water will be turned off in order to complete work within the building.

 

During this period, please do NOT flush your toilets, use your washing machine or any taps within your units.

 

Should you have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact Management.

Water Shut-off Valves: How-to Films

To help residents learn to locate and operate their water shut-off valves the Board and Management have engaged volunteers to make short how-to films. These are now available on the East Market Web site on link below. A short film has been posted for each of the 10 typical units on each floor. Note that, these valves do not shut off the water to/from your HVAC units. Thank you to those who kindly lent their units for the filming.

VISITOR PARKING CLOSED

Garage Cleaning

 

The visitor parking area level will be closed on Thursday May 21st, 2015 from

8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

 

Phase 2 spots will also be cleaned on Thursday May 21st, 2015

 

Phase 1 spots will be cleaned on Friday May 22, 2015

 

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL VISITORS MUST REMOVE THEIR VEHICLES DURING THIS TIME INCLUDING THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN PERMITTED AN EXTENDED STAY APPROVAL.

Garage Cleaning & Membrane Inspection

The power washing of the G/P1/P2/P3 garage floors will commence on Wednesday, May 6th, from 8am - 6pm.  

All vehicles must be removed from the garage during these times to allow for proper maintenance and membrane inspection.

Veuillez noter que le lavage sous pression des niveaux du garage G, P1, P2 et P3 débutera le 6 may 2015, de 8h00 à 18h00.

Conversion from Heat to AC

Please note that the conversion from Heat to AC

has been completed, providing AC to common areas and units.

 

 

IN-SUITE AC/HEATING MAINTENANCE

Unit owners are responsible to repair and maintain the heating and cooling apparatus inside their unit.

In addition to changing of filters, an annual cleaning of the condensate pan and flushing of the condensate drain is highly recommended.  Failure for the unit owner to perform this maintenance could result in blockage and water damage to yours and other units.

The Corporation urges you to contact a mechanical/plumbing contractor of your choice to perform this maintenance.

ANNUAL FIRE SYSTEM INSPECTION

East Market 3 (179 George)

 

Please note that the inspection of the common area fire systems will take place on the following dates:

 

THURSDAY, JANUARY 12 & 13, 2015 

from 9:00AM TO 5:00PM

 

Access to units is NOT required for this inspection.  You will hear the alarms periodically throughout the day, but do not need to evacuate the building.

Please be advised we will be completing the ramp repair on:

Wednesday November 5th, 2014 at 8:00 am

The final stage is to pour concrete over the electrical cable which has been repaired and removing the wood currently in place.

During this time, only one (1) side of the ramp will be available for use. We ask that you drive carefully and with caution, to ensure no one gets hurt. A security guard will be on site from 9:00 am Wednesday until to 9:00 am Thursday to assist with directing traffic.

We apologize for the short notice and appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding while we complete this repair.
